Hey gurls....i apologize for not posting the pics early or as promised.
I've been so busy moving out from my old place and preparing for my finals. There is a cantonese saying "dek han sey, ng dek han ban" meaning, 'if i am free, i'd rather die than be sick' something like that.
Basically Ill have to move out by next friday and be ready for check out which I cant wait.
I was gonna take a picture of my makeup today, but I used THE FACE SHOP bb cream instead of the SCINIC. Ill post dem pics ASAP....lets say within a couple days or so.
Ill be going home to NY on May 16th...I've coordinated with my parents, so I'll be meeting them at the terminal so we can go home together. I cant wait to see them. I bet my mom will be sooooo pumped when she sees my makeup, cos using those bb creams definately looks very natural and flawless, so i cant wait!

Settled...kinda

So I'm back, been sooooo busy for the past week. The night before moving, I fell sick down with a terrible flu. Being sick means not being able to move much, I tried for the first 2.5 hrs and I felt so light headed that I had to sit even once in a while. So I gave up moving and Tel moved most the stuff after his friend who helped left.
All the boxes that were brought over from the old place were pretty much unpacked, now whats left in the craphole is my hanging clothes and shoes...and other lil bits and pieces of stuff. Me and tel would probably need to go back on Sunday or someething to finish up so we can start cleaning.
I am very pleased with the new place, big enough for both of us yet managable. It's very cosy too, and boy I LOVE THE KITCHEN. I promise Ill post pics of my place once I get my desk set up.

My SASA.com order is finally here!!! It arrived last week, but being sick just kinda threw me off not wanting to do shiat. I am trying to get back on track as I have a major exam next week, so there goes my weekend.

I arrived at NY without any issues surprisingly...not bad for crowded Spring break airports. Passed out once my sister got home from class, was flippin exhausted and sore from overworking myself before I left.
Plans for tonight is pretty tight, actually plans for the weekend is pretty tight. Going out tonight as well as Saturday night. Dont know if I am ready for that as I am still overwhelmed to be home.
Weather here is definately not as good, its suppose to rain tonight...NOT good!
My hair color is actually getting lighter and even throughout..I cant wait to take pictures and post them when I get back.
I kinda have to start packing and get ready for tonight...

New phone...please advise

My chocolate white LG phone is starting to detirorate on me...the battery life is useless...gotta get it charged every 2 days or so...ERGH...i realllllllllly need a new phone...i was thinking bout trading it in for VENUS LG either in Pink or black...BUT technically my trade-in date is Sept 20th, so should I wait 6 mths? Or should I change it now, but I have to pay the difference in price...sigh...i dont know what to do...its buggin meeeeeeeeeeeee.....

What a weekend

Watched The Bank Job today, it was a pretty good movie. Before the movie started, reviews on the upcoming movies were shown...damn...Shutter was the shiat I must say....scared the heebee jeebees outta me...

The thought about me moving is stressful...alotta school work, alotta of other misc things to get done...IN SUCH LIL TIME>...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....

YES!!!! Tel and I paid our deposit for our new place!!!! Its a one bedroom with a sunroom. It looks soooooooooo gorgeous, I cant wait to sit in the sunroom reading a book or something. Its only 825 sq ft, a pretty good size for both of us and the dogs. There's a deck that leads to the shared courtyard, which is PERFECT for the dogs. The kitchen is a good size for me to do my cooking, the combo washer/dryer is also located in the kitchen. The cabinets in the kitchen is dark cherry wood with stainless steel modern handles. The wall by the sink is also stainless steel, the countertops are granite, and off the end is a table where you can use your computer or have your meals. The flooring in the living room as well as kitchen is a dark cherry brown color. there's alot of window, thus the whole place is very bright and full of sunshine. The bedroom is not too small nor too big, just right for the bed, the side table as well as my desk. Tel and I will have to work around with the closet space as its kinda small. I am planning on getting a 6 drawer dresser for my t shirts and maybe jeans although I prefer my jeans to be hung.
I might also need a shoe cabinet for my close to 100 pairs of shoes and boots. EKS...I need to face the reality and stop eyeing on more shoes. Right outside the bedroom, there's a built in shelf, perfect for Tel's scrapbooks and other of his stuff. Because there's so much space in that shelf, I am debating on storing some of my clothes...still thinking about it. Across the bedroom is the bathroom, there's actually 3 flights of steps going up to the bathroom, so pray hard that nobody gets too wasted to prevent from trippin over em steps. The bathroom is sooooo modern, I love the frosted glass that allows natural light to shine in, like I've said i am planning on drawing some stuff on it.
I am just soooo excited to move!!! Our move-in date is the 2nd week of April, I kinda want to move earlier like the 12th...since 15th is a Tuesday...i just cant wait!!! Although thinking about packing and moving all our crap is gonna SUCK!!!

I bought another box of hair dye...GARNIER 100%; it definately brighten my natural color and also the color I had on 2 days ago. I am also trying this new hair product, NEXXUS straighten spray. It is said by ALLURE magazine that prolonged usage will straighten the hair permanately. The spray actually smells like cocoa butter...and is very light, thus it doesnt weigh down the hair. Ill update in a few weeks about this product.

After looking at Koomsies.blogspot i decided to color my hair. I was kinda debating on going over to my friend's salon to get it done, but couldnt really find the time to. Therefore, I decided to grab a box off the shelf at the drugstore, I chose Garnier Nutrisse #60 Acorn light brown. I dont really know how this will turn out, and I am pretty excited to see the outcome. I think I will be leaving it longer than 25 mins, so itll turn out a tad lighter.
I feel pretty good bout saving myself 80 bucks, normally I dont get much luck at the salon getting my hair colored....


Oh yea, on the place i looked at...it didnt turn out to what i expected....sigh...really disappointed. It was kinda old and i didnt really like the kitchen AT ALL...Ill be lookin at some other ones tomorrow or sometime this week...the photos show stainless steel kitchen...I LIKE!!! I cant wait to start making curtains for my new place...a brand new place...brand new start!!! YAY

Leap year!!

HAPPY Feb 29th to all!! Dont think we'll be out tonight.
Had my taxes done today, not by me though...had to get an accountant...heh
Waiting for Tel to get off work so we can do some shopping. Thinking about changing/upgrading my phone. TOo bad using T-mobile here SUCKS, if not, Ill be getting the PRADA phone by LG, its $450 and is a tri-band phone.

First off, THAT PLACE I WAS BOUT TO RENT IS A FRAUD!!!!!!!!!
Thank god I didnt proceed in paying the 1st month's rent. I was sooooo pumped bout moving by next week, I guess its a blessing in disguise.
What happened was:
This scammer has been placing the rental posting on Craigslist, and I kinda found that it was fishy that it was flagged for removal twice on 2 separate occassion. I called the Manager of the apt yesterday, and spoke to him regarding this particular unit. He mentioned that the pictures on the posting was from another apt, and that those owners of the apt building didnt go by the name 'Amanda'. Actually 2 other people asked about this place these past few days, and the management company is taking legal actions against this scammer.
What a fugger, I was THISSSSSSSSSSSSSS close in sending money. So glad that I can finally move on, sigh....oh well...on Monday Ill be looking at this 3 bedroom duplex and is allwooden floors. I think they are currently finishing renovation on one of the duplexes. I cant wait to have Tel look at them, cause I think the likelihood of me renting is pretty high. I think all Tel is asking for is a garden/yard for the puppies, and there is one at the duplex. YAY!!! If everything turns out ok, we should be moving April 1st the earliest if not May 1st.
13 more days till going back home...NYC here I come!!!!!

Woke up at 4am this morning, cant fall back to sleep...so freakin sleepy now. I WOULD very much like to take a nap, but I gotta go get Tel in a lil bit. ERGH...

Went to Barnes and Noble after lab to read some books. Found a book "It's (mostly) his fault" by Robert Mark Alter. Its a book for women who are fed up and the men who love them. Basically its about the making of a good husband.

So my exam today went really good. Better than I expected actually. Talked to the travel agent and had 2 spots reserved, he mentioned that prices will drop when summer starts, so he suggested on holding off before purchasing.

Tel promised me a big tub of gelato as well as 2 2-scoop cups. YUM!! I cant wait till Saturday....YEAHhhhhhh!
I did 2 good deeds today and boy do I feel gooooooood.....I let some girl have my parking spot, cos I saw her circling the lot a couple times. Also, an old lady was trying to grab one gallon bottled iced tea off the top shelf, she had trouble reaching far behind the counter, so I asked if she needed help and helped her; she was really grateful. I feel gooooooooood.

Leaving for a short vacation in about 3 wks or so...I cant wait to see my sister!!!!!!

Oh ya...was kinda pissed last night when I was going through my online class discussion. This 'older' woman kept dissing my comments. It's freakin' free speech yo...take a chill pill. Whatever I wrote, she'll say something bad about it. Flippin' A! ERGH...she actually did that not only to me, but to others as well. I am trying to refrain from commenting about her posting. Hopefully she wont keep doing that horsecrap to whatever I post....

AND....today during exam, one chick at the back was CHEATING...aaaa COME ON...if u know the shit u know it, if you dont yoa dont...freakin go home and cry urself a river BIAAaatch! Whatever, anyhoo...i just think that's a LOOOOOOOOW arse thing to do *no offence to those who cheat* I mean if she wanted to cheat, at least cheat in a pro manner...I saw her EYE to EYE, it was definately an awkward moment...

Anyhoo, I cant wait to see FINN for the first time!!!!! He's only a couple months old...born in Ireland...
