First, I was planning on just getting the SKIN79 Hologram pearl gold compact, but softpeachy was out. As you know, Ill be going back home to NY and my compact was running kinda low, I figured HECK why not get a couple more just to stock up for summer as well as for my trip to TW in August. As I was looking around, yes...looking as in browsing, an image floated in my mind, triggering it humming...'try skinfood...try skinfood'. So what did dear Meo do? Began going on youtube.com searching for the TW show that introduced Skinfood makeup...getting on forums to read whats good and whats not. My conclusion after that is, since my skin type differs in winter and in summer, i figured ill try all three of them to see which suits me better for which seasons...smart thinking aye?? Yep...gotta have all three, i can always mix it up and use it together right? All these 3 diff bb cream has its own functions, however one doesnt have SPF in it...I have yet to try these on my face...will update!
OOo..yes the compact...so then, back to browsing for my compact...gosh dang it...they didnt have Skin79 hologram anymore....ERGHHHHHH....so i tot...
so, my other find was this, and it worked just like the hologram gold as it has crushed pearls in the compact, giving a dewy look as well as a very soft texture...so in love with it...it works PERFECT as a finishing product as it brightens up my skin giving a healthy complexion as shown in previous posts.
For some reason, I am in love with any makeup that contains crushed pearls...so I treated myself with this as well...figured..HECK why not...THEY are delivering the other stuff, one more wont hurt much. I tested this on my hand and it glides on really smoothly and gives a dewy finish...totally recommend!!!
Of course, all that damage did come with a lot of samples...when i mean alot i mean ALOT! I didnt even finish the other samples i got from the last order....
Most of the samples were SKINFOOD and a couple were BRTC, I am totally taking BRTC outta my mind...SCINIC, the FACE shop, MISSHAshiny works the best for NC15 skin tones (n skinfood in light)
Ill be posting pics of the whole early birthday presentS to self very soon.
P/S: my dad told me that he got me a new camera and a new watch for my bday which is in 15 days...cant wait to see him, my mom n sis this friday!!! YAY!
ergh..finals on thursday....

ergh
after reading the comments i got from lilbebe, i did some research and saw that SCINIC bb cream costs twice as much at evecare.com compared to sasa.com, even at amazon.com it costs twice as much...DANG! its such a good beginner bb cream that i totally recommend to all the girls out there that want to give bb cream a shot. Remember how I was biatching bout my blemishes on my face a couple months back, now my confidence is back....SCINIC and THE FACE SHOP bb cream did its job! I rather spend the money on those 2 bb creams than BRTC frankly speaking.
I also recommend SKIN79 hologram pearl compact SPF 30 together with the bb cream....and TADA! flawless face....even after 9 hours being out in the sun. When i mean flawless i mean, no melting of makeup...ur face will still look as smooth as if there's no makeup on.
I guess Ill use SCINIC bb cream and SKIN79 compact again and again. I still have THE FACE SHOP and SCINIC bb creams left, maybe ill stock up next month or so, together with the SKIN79 compact.

Sasa.com order
Remember how I mentioned in my previous blog bout my purchase from sasa.com, well I got a chance to try out the Scinic BB cream (the one and only one they were selling), and it turned out to be FABU!!!! I LIKEY!!!!
Although it is not a huge brand, actually its pretty much unheard of, it's as good as THE FACE SHOP BB cream.
I am off the BRTC bb cream as it has a darker tone than THE FACE SHOP or Scinic. My skin is absorbing THe FACE SHOP and Scinic better, in fact, my akin is improving faster than if I were to use BRTC.
The consistency of Scinic is smooth and VERY easy to blend. It melted right into my skin without any flaws. By the end of the day, my makeup still stayed on without looking cakey or oily. Scinic and THE FACE SHOP matched my skin tone the best and I am a NC15 in MAC.
I am glad Scinic came in 50ml and for the price NOT BAD AT ALL!! I definately recommend this to everybody who wants to take a shot at using BB creams for the first time, wont go wrong!!!

exhausted!
I was reading Reinvent's blog, she introduced this website www.taaz.com. It's basically a makeover website and is very easy to use compared to other makeover websites. I do recommend people who wants to use the website to upload a photo of yourself without makeup in order to see the difference, I didnt use a photo of myself without makeup...so here it is:
I didnt change my hairstyle using that website...all i did was just changing the lipcolor, eyeshadow, contacts, and blush...what a huge difference it can make!!!
you gurlz should give it a shot!!!

BIG DAY: Next weekend
Moving next Sat...YAY!!! Have I started packing? NO....i should though, been so restless since I got back. Why? I dont know..feel like that exam totally drained me out, still have one assignment and one test due by Friday another paper due next Thursday.
Makeup on me is THE FACE SHOP bb cream, with MAC eyeliner and RIMMEL white eyeliner for my inner eyes. That's what the hair color turned out...its getting a tad lighter and it evens out throughout my hair.
Oh ya...i forgot to mention that I bought the SALLY HANSEN clear nail buff polish...it creates a natural look for your nails making it look healthy and natural...

updates updates!
Exam today was aight...wasnt as confident as the last exam, BUT not as bad as I thought it would be. Just received an email regarding my Sasa.com purchase, they are unfortunately out of KATE eyeshadow...MAN, i was excited bout that especially. Also, they are finally sending out my package, and itll take 7-14 business days...how SLOW!
Moving next Saturday!! YAY!!! the thought bout packing and unpacking just drives me nuts.
Today, went out and about with Ann-O and lil Finn, found yoga pants from Lady foot locker for 6 BUCKS....hell ya...they were on sale..70 percent off...the yoga pants are for my sis actually..went to OLD NAVY and splurged on some 3/4 sleeves cardigan in black and another in green, tube top, 3 pairs of flip-flops, a pair of pj pants...they were ON SALE!!!
The NY flight back was bad but not as bad as I thought. Slight delay getting out of NY (that's not unheard of), almost missed my connecting flight. Spent Easter Sunday recovering from the long-arse flight and studying for my exam...I HATE EXAMS AFTER A BREAK!!!
St. paddy's day was erhm....fun!?!?! I was way drunk and shouldnt be...I guess downing a bottle of white wine together with Sake bombs and other shots in 2 hrs is a NO NO....I was also playing those 15/20 game with this one friend, singing Karaoke to start of...passed out in the end...My sis and 2 other friends had to carry me...and mind you, being 5'8 on 3" heels (which makes me a giant among my friends) doesnt make it any easier for them to carry me...THE REST IS HISTORY!!!
I promise to post pics hopefully tomorrow...needa do that with another lappie of mine...
So far the FACE SHOP bb cream works PERFECT for me...its clearing my blemishes faster than BRTC....why? I dont know. I thought BRTC would work better...hmm....i guess ill have to post pics of the FACE SHOP and BRTC bb cream on my face so you can see the difference. Stay tune for that ok? bare with me guys...one more exam this friday!!!
Yes I flew Delta and UA...dont really have a fav airline...BUT i find UA seats more spacious than Delta...

THE FACE SHOP
On the third day at NY, went to Flushing with some of my friends...was looking for BB creams at those Korean beauty stores...alot of different brands; mostly unheard of...THEN...i saw THE FACE SHOP...i remembered reading at ABB about their BB creams...so I decided to give it a shot. It was 32 bucks for 1.59fl oz...
The texture is very easy to spread out, light but with full coverage. It matched my skin tone perfectly, and mind you I am a NC15 (in MAC)...there wasnt any fragrance in that bb cream...had perfect oil control, meaning I didnt even have to blot in between my 9 hr outdoor exposure. The bb cream gave me somewhat of a dewy look, hm...I should say more towards the dewy side yet a lil matte. I have yet to breakout from this product, better not jinx myself...HA
Overall, Ill give this product a 5/5...no CONS yet...Ill update in a week or so about this product...
Cant seem to find a picture of this off the internet, will do so when I update next week!

Geez...peer pressure
ERhm...hm...gotta give my thanks to FEI for introducing all those good buys @ sasa.com. I DID managed to spend more than 75 bucks to be qualified for the free shipping, was kinda hoping for a couple free samples, but I guess I am only eligible for ONE...geezz...
Total damage under the influence of FEI:
- 2 DEJAVU FIBERWIG 3D Mascara $12.60
- normally this is $22 at Sephora, cheaper by 10 bucks HELL YA!
- DEJAVU FIBERWIG Tiny Sniper $10.10
- the brush is angled to reach those stubborn hard to reach lashes
- Kanebo KATE Dual Carat Eyeshadow in GD-1 $14.80
- this is a good buy compared to going to a counter to purchase it, and its a very good brand for Asians
- SCINIC Fine Control BB Cream (50 ml) $21.70
- the review on this seems pretty tempting although its an unknown brand to me, its worth a try for that price
- Koji Accent Curler $2.80
- this gives a very natural curl compared to the normal 'L' curl
- Ikemoto Hair Esthetic Folding Brush $2.30
- this is my travel brush
- Ikemoto Hair Esthetic Men's Comb $2.30
- this is for Tel

BB cream update
I've been using BRTC Recovery Balm as well as the blemish concealer for about 2 wks now, it has made my face smoother and clearer. It definately lightened my blemish scars, although it didnt really heal/fade 3 of my fresh scars. I think prolong usage will clear up my skin and whiten it as well. I think it might be due to the horrible winter weather, that's why my fresh scars is taken longer than usual to heal. Sigh, been drinking tons of water to detoxify my body, hoping itll speed up the process as Ill be leaving for home in 12 days.
Today's weather is surprisingly warm....59F....partly cloudy, but I chose to stay in.

BB review and update!!
Sorry for MIA for these few days, THANK YOU Bliss for your concern!! Yes i am feeling a tad better but still uber miserable with my sore throat and stuffy nose.
Anyhoo, I thought Tel really didnt bother to get me anything for V-day, BUT surprisingly, he came home Friday after work with a rose. I am not that kind of girl that expects a dozen roses, I only care about his thought. I LOVE HIM to the bits...*hah.getting mushy there*
So I've received my BB cream on Tuesday, and I also have a dozen if not more of FREE SAMPLES!!! YES free samples!!!
This includes:
SkinFood
Sweet Potato Tinted Balm
Lime Secret Shine Base (2X)
White Grape Fresh Base
White Grape Fresh Foundation
Potiron au Lait Cream
Missha
Self Control Peeling Massage
Night Revolution Perfect Master (I've used this, would recommend. Has a nice scent, leaves face smooth and clear)
BRTC
Perfect V Shaper (3X) (this values for $21 for 5, and I received 3)
Hanskin
Lemon Peel Serum
Glossy BB (3X)
Caviar gold BB
Magic BB
Super Magic BB
The products I purchased were: BRTC Perfect Recover Balm + Blemish Concealer , Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Triple Function Oil-Free , Skin79 Hologram Pearl Gold Compact Powder, HANSKIN Magic Glossy BB cream, BRTC whitening Compact.
I've tried all the products on my hand as well as my face where my blemishes are just to test the coverage.
BRTC concealer gives full coverage without a doubt, it doesnt dry out and is very easy to blend and managable. BRTC balm is also very blendable and gives full coverage without looking too cakey. It matched my skintone prefectly, looked flawless. (I have a NC15 tone) On top of that, I used BRTC compact, which is a very very fine powder that sets my makeup giving it flawless finishing touch. Afterwhich, I used Skin79 Hologram Pearl Compact, as BRTC products gave me a matte look, thus using the powder itself which has little specks of pearl looking powder, giving me very natural glow, not dramatic at all. After 9 hours, no sign of oil or melting of my makeup nor did I have to touch up in between.
Hanskin Magic Glossy cream, on the other hand gives little-medium coverage. It is very dewy for those who have flawless skin and would like to achieve a dewy look, this is definately the product. This also matched my skintone perfectly, very easy to apply, not oily at all.
Skin79 Super, what I've heard is this is more of a summer product as it controls sweat and oil better. I did give it a try, and it also gives me med-full coverage. Very blendable and this product is a lil different that BRTC bb cream, it's more to the dewy glowy side than matte. (I would give another review as I've only used this once)
So after about 5 days of application, it definately lightening my skin as well as my blemishes. After I washed my face, it leaves my skin to be 'springie' and very smooth. It definately tightened my pores. So far no new breakouts!!!
I hope this helps, I'll keep updating every week about my skin with prolonged usage of bb creams!
(Ill post pics probably next wk as itll show a better outcome)

BB cream...Unwell
Woke up yesterday morning with aa sore throat. This morning it's even worse, sore and dry, probably swollen too.
Tel was nice enough to pick up the box of BB cream for me at the post office. He said it's better if I stayed home, cause the weather is just dreadful.
He said that the box was slightly ripped off. Hopefully everything in the box is still intacted,, and nothing is missing. Cant wait to use those bb cream for the first time starting tomorrow.
Just looked at the schedule for summer classes, will be registering for 2-3 classes as classes start 6.2 till 7.25 which fits perfectly since my Taiwan trip would be that weekend for 2 weeks. Also found out that classes are only Mondays and Wednesdays YAY!! BUT...the con is classes start at 8am....WT...which means I'll have to wake up at 630....sigh...oh well...i rather do that than go every day or every other day.
Quiz this Thursday and test next Tuesday...man...I WANT MY SORE THROAT TO GO AWAY!
*cant drink honey lemon cause I'm allergic to lemon due to my asthma....
**I aint mad at you. Just that '家醜不得外傳‘; blogs are being posted online which means EVERYBODY will guess that be it me or somebody else. There's no privacy if things are being posted online. Free speech ya know?
But, afterall I aint mad at you la...small matter, no biggie...❤love ya my friend!! ❤

UGH
Its 1pm now, still no sign of Tel coming to pick me up. No phone calls NOTHING. I am starving, dont know if I should eat cause he said we'll be having lunch with his crew. Sigh...
Eason Chan is having a concert on Sunday...AND my sister gets to go...I WANT TO GO!!!! EASOOOOOOOOONNNNN....
Love his songs. Anyhoo, I hope my sister will have tons of fun and take lots of pictures for me.
(I am using MAC brow shaper, MAC eyeliner that doesnt smudge on me ever, LORAC blush that's so dolly and natural, FIberwig Mascara together with RIMMEL volumizer that works!! DIOR lipgloss over MAC pinkish nude lipstick, VICHY foundation and MAC pressed powder in NC15.)
You can kinda see the blush, that's how dolly it looks. I LURVE IT!! VICHY LABORATORY is a very good brand when it comes to keeping clear from blemishes and breakouts. I've been using their cleanser which has a very nice fragrant to it, it deeply cleanse my face without leaving it dried out. As for their foundation, its silky and gives full coverage to my face, it also last for the whole day, not a tad bit of shine! The price is about 27 bucks for a 30ml bottle. Last me for a long time cause using a little last a long way.
*its 1.30pm almost, STILL NO SIGN!!!!

Pumped
I am pretty excited about my date tomorrow...our ANNIVERSARY!!!!! YAY! After that, there'll be a limo picking us up to go to SokHo...heard its a pretty huge party over 2000 people!! My schedule is pretty packed tomorrow...lunch, shopping, movie, dinner, PARTAY!!
Was kinda bored today from all that studying, so I decided to watch that Taiwanese variety show on how to apply make up. Its a pretty good show cause they show various girls with different eye shapes and such. And the make up is done by professional make up artists. They give pretty good tips and instructions on how to use make up according to your facial features to enhance them to the fullest.
I found one episode that really suits me, so I gave it a shot in the afternoon and WALA...that's the make up I'll be using tomorrow for my date! Ill remember to bring my camera and take some shots on what I'll be wearing.
have.a.great.weekend.guys.!

Eye talk... italk?
Ok...so it was the BB cream craze, then Circle Lens...how bout Eye talk now? It's been around for quite some time, from what I know. I've actually used it for about 3 yrs or so...while on and off for the last 2.5 yrs. The first 6mths when I was using it, I used it almost everyday. And after 6 mths or so, my eyelid kinda got used to being 'glued' thus becoming a very natural double eyelid! YAY!
My very first encounter with it was given by my cousin who lives in Netherlands, she went on a trip to Korea and bought so many that she thought I ought to give it a try...AND I DID!! Fall in love with it the first time I've used it. After using it all up...I was concerned about not being able to get it here in the States....THANK GOD for Chinatown in NY. I found it...but of a different brand called 'Eyetalk'. They are quite costly, DUH everything that's imported from Asia in the States are expensive, the price came up to be 17 bucks (cant really remember but close enough). HELLO...that's kinda expensive...but when I came to think about it, you dont really have to use a whole lot so its pretty worth it.
The glue is white in color, bout it'll dry up to be transparent. It is also very easy to remove, just like regular glue stuck on your skin.
Well the Eye Talk kit contains eyelid glue, a “pusher,” and everything else you need to give the Oriental eye an attractive roundness, without cosmetic surgery...I like the sound of that...dont know bout you guys.
Here's a link on how-to:
